Terms of Business
For most bookings (except for late notice ones) we post, fax or email to clients a formal agency booking agreement, which needs to be signed and returned along with the agency booking deposit.
Agency booking deposits can be paid by cheque, postal order or over the telephone by credit card/ debit card (we accept Visa, Barclaycard etc).
For all bookings there is a full refund of the agency booking deposit if the artists/ agency cancels the booking or the artist(s) fails to show on the booking date of performance. If the booking client cancels the booking, then there is NO REFUND of the agency booking deposit.
Cancellation for Artists: For eventualities whereby the booking client cancels the booking within 4 weeks (or sometimes 2 weeks depending on the booking agreement), the booking client shall pay a designated cancellation fee (usually fifty percent) of the artists’ fee.
Health & Safety: The booking client shall safeguard the health and safety of the artist(s), and before the booking undertake a health and safety check of the venue (including fire hazards, fire exits, floor surfaces, electrical sockets, lighting, and personal security for the artist(s). Where PA systems and electrical mobile appliances are used by the artist(s) concerned, they are CAP tested with certification.
Public Liability Insurance: The Xanadu Entertainment Agency is fully insured with one million pounds public liability insurance. The artist(s) are individually insured with their own public liability insurance.
Data Protection: The Xanadu Entertainment Agency is registered to the Data Protection Registrar (Controller Mr A Ridgway) and fully complies to the Data Protection Act 1998. Xanadu Entertainment Agency keeps client information confidential and is not passed on to third party agents. All client credit card and debit card details are shredded after the payment has been processed.
Separate Client Account: The Xanadu Entertainment Agency has a separate bank account for clients as in compliance to the UK Employment Agencies rules and regulations.
Licenses: Where applicable licenses are held with the represented entertainers / artists as so required by UK and English Law.
The entertainers / artists are represented as individual self-employed businesses and are not in anyway recognised as employed by the Xanadu Entertainment Agency.
The Xanadu Entertainment Agency is registered as a sole-trading UK business enterprise and is NON VAT registered. Adult-xanadu.co.uk is a trading name of the Xanadu Entertainment Agency.
Requirements from the booking client:
For each and every booking the client/venue will need to supply to the artist(s) a secure changing room/area, security, lighting (where applicable if not supplied by the artist(s)), electrical sockets, dry well ventilated non-slippery venue arena where the artist(s) shall be performing. The booking client will need to get prior consent from the venue owner including entertainment licensing requirements.
For Xanadu Entertainment Agency to ascertain the availability of its represented artist(s), we shall require:

Xanadu Entertainment Agency shall then contact the prospective booking client very shortly there afterwards.
